Dear Patients:

Our office follows infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). We follow the activities of these agencies so that we are up-to-date on any new rulings or guidance that may be issued. We do this to make sure that our infection control procedures are current and adhere to each agencies’ recommendations.

You may see some changes when it is time for your next appointment. We made these changes to help protect our patients and staff. Please be patient with us as we all adapt to this new “normal”.

For example:

· Our office will communicate with you beforehand to ask some screening questions. You’ll be asked those same questions again when you are in the office.

· We ask that you wear a facemask in the office, if possible, but NO GLOVES.

· We have hand sanitizer that we will ask you to use when you enter the office. You will also find some in the reception area and other places in the office for you to use as needed.

· You may see that our waiting room will no longer offer magazines, children’s toys and so forth, since those items are difficult to clean and disinfect.

· Appointments will be managed to allow for social distancing between patients. That might mean that you’re offered fewer options for scheduling your appointment.

· We will do our best to allow greater time between patients to reduce waiting times for you, as well as to reduce the number of patients in the reception area at any one time.

We look forward to seeing you again and are happy to answer any questions you may have about the steps we take to keep you, and every patient, safe in our practice.

Thank you for being our patient. We value your trust and loyalty and look forward to welcoming back our patients, neighbors and friends.

Keep Smiling!

Are You a Candidate for a Smile Makeover?

Generally, the best candidates for a smile makeover have a strong desire to improve the appearance of their smile, and need multiple treatments to achieve their aesthetic goals. Before cosmetic treatment can be implemented, you will need to make sure your smile is free from issues such as tooth decay and gum disease. One of our doctors can first address any oral health problems through treatments such as tooth-colored fillings, dental crowns, and periodontal therapy.

Our technology, experience, and advanced treatments can give you the smile you have always wanted.

Once your smile is healthy, you can begin the makeover process. You will meet with one of our dentists to discuss your unique goals and concerns. Your doctor will also perform a thorough examination of your smile to determine which treatments are best for you.

Commonly Combined Procedures

There are several cosmetic treatments that can be used to brighten and straighten your teeth, and provide an overall improved appearance.

Porcelain Veneers

These wafer-thin ceramic shells are one of the most popular treatments in cosmetic dentistry. Porcelain veneers are applied to the front surface of the teeth to conceal minor imperfections such as chips, cracks, or discoloration that does not respond to teeth whitening. These restorations are placed over the course of two appointments, and typically require the removal of a very small portion of each treated tooth.

Teeth Whitening

Convenient and simple, our teeth whitening treatments use a safe and effective gel solution that breaks the bond between stains and the enamel. Available in-office and in take-home kits, whitening can lighten the teeth up to seven shades and treatment can be repeated at the discretion of your dentist.

Gum Contouring

Many patients do not realize that excess gum tissue or an uneven gum line can create an unbalanced or disproportionate smile. Gum contouring, also known as reshaping, can improve symmetry and harmony between the teeth and gums.

Invisalign® uses clear, removable trays to gently realign the teeth over several months. Most patients prefer this discreet alternative to traditional orthodontics.

Dental Crowns

A dental crown is a type of restoration that restores shape, form, and function of a tooth that has been damaged by decay or trauma. Today's crowns are so lifelike that many patients can benefit from their aesthetic benefits.
